Its not very often that you get the chance to own one of these cash registers from yesteryear, let alone one that was primarily installed in one of Liverpool's finest watering holes - The Philarmonic.

This beautiful Brass cash register or till is probably the heaviest item featuring in our Auction, and was purchased by its current owner from The Philarmonic Pub many years ago to feature as a focal point in their own Public House in Brixham. Little did they know that fame would come calling when the TV documentary 'Fish Town' asked to feature their pub in the programme. This cash register was destined for fame, and added TV star to its CV.

Sadly, although the cash register has been well looked after over the years, the internal workings of this finely polished heavyweight don't work like they used to. With a bit of love and attention, this star could shine brightly once again, and adorn the bar of another fine watering hole or even just a Covid secure man cave :)
